Bradford Taylor Beaton,, 69
SUTTON - Bradford Taylor Beaton, of Sutton, passed away peacefully with his family at his side on August 10, 2011. He was 69 years old. Brad was born in Worcester and spent his life in Sutton. He attended Sutton High School and Clark University in Worcester. Brad fell in love with Kari Wolk after meeting her at a dance in 1968, and they wed on April 26, 1970. He and Kari spent their first years raising their children Jon and Kate on Lake Singletary before settling at the homestead on Waters Road. Brad's energy and vision were evident in all of his endeavors. He owned and operated New England Newspaper Supply Company for forty-five years. Brad had a passion for breeding Morgan horses, farming, his backhoe, haying, and chopping wood. He will always be remembered for his dry wit, his sparkling smile, his enthusiasm for spirited political debate, and the deep love he had for his wife and family. He is survived by his wife, Kari Beaton; his children, Jon Beaton and Kate Mazzini; his daughter-in-law, Megan Beaton and son-in-law, Michael Mazzini; his grandchildren, Jack and Will Beaton and Stella Mazzini; and his sister, Pamela Graves. He is predeceased by his parents, Alfred T. and Barbara (Batcheller) Beaton. Calling hours are 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, Aug. 15th at Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St. in Millbury. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 16th in West Sutton Cemetery, West Sutton Rd. in Sutton. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Donor Services, P.O. Box 4072, Pittsfield, MA 01202.
