Wesley Joel Haight was born in Pa. and served in the great United States Civil War as a Private in Company B, 135th Pa. Infantry. He served with honor. He later moved with family members to Minnesota and then to Neb. where he expired. His wife Hannah Harriger is buried beside him. Their son Arthur married Lily Kirst and had son Earl who married Ethel Sanden. Their son is Chandler Haight is a member of Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War. He is very proud of the service to his country which Wesley, his great grandfather, devoted.
