Memorial Services for Frankie Lee McCleary, 54, Ringling were 3:00 PM Friday at the First Baptist Church in Ringling, with Rev. Mike Williams officiating. Burial was at Dixie Cemetery.

Frankie was born September 23, 1956 in Fort Sill to Frank D. and Shirley (King) McCleary. He passed away March 9, 2011 at his home in Ringling.

Frankie was raised in California, moving to Ringling in 1974, where he graduated High School. He enlisted in the US Marines in 1974 and was honorably discharged in 1982. He then moved back to Ringling and married the former Rolanda Butler in Wilson, making their home in Ringling. He was employed as a derrick hand on a drilling rig until retiring due to an injury. He enjoyed his kids and all their activities, cooking and loved being with his granddaughter. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Ringling.

Frankie was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife of the home, daughter Meagan McCleary, son Matthew McCleary, granddaughter Maveryk Tallbear, son - in-law Kelly Tallbear, all of Ringling, sister Connie Wilson and husband Garry, Rock Springs, Wy. and brother Robert McCleary and wife Sherry, Ringling.Honorary bearers were Waymon King, Eddy Jones, Jonathan Wilson, Craig King, Johnny King, Cokey Wilson and Mike Faulkner.
