Delaware Gazette April 9, 1915 ............ "The funeral services of Mrs. Elizabeth Durfey were held at the residence in Berlin Twp. Thursday, conducted by Rev. Mr. Weir assisted by A. L. Cross. The pall bearers were S.A. Manter, L.P. Green, B.A. Green, Vern Green, Valores Green, and D.A. Green, all grandsons of the deceased. Burial at Peachblow cemetery."
Delaware Gazette April 11, 1915 ........ "Elizabeth, daughter of Jacob and Margaret Good, was born in Fairfield County, June 21, 1830. She was married to Andrew Green February 29, 1848. To this union four children were born; two sons, Albert and Jacob; and one daughter, Samantha Mantor with whom she had made her home the last few years, and another daughter who died in infancy. On Easter Sunday, March 31, 1872 her husband, Andrew Green, passed to his reward. April 16, 1875 she was married th Reuben Durfey, who preceded her four years ago. She leaves together with her three children, 20 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and 9 great, great grandchildren. At the age of 15 she united with the United Brethren Church and was one of the present U.B. Church at Peachblow, and was the last of the charter members. On April 4, 1915, just 13 years from the date of her first husband's death, she, at the age of 84 yr. 9 mo. 14 da., passed away. The funeral services were held at Peachblow Tuesday, April 6, conducted by Rev. Mr. Weir assisted by Rev. Mr. Cross of Lewis Center."
