Daughter of Ivory Everett and Lillie Mae Ledford Hall she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Eldire Berrong, who died Dec. 28, 1999 and a son, Frank Weldon Berrong. They had three daughters, Betty Gladson, of Murphy, NC, Marilyn Bailey, of Hayesville, and Teresa McClure and husband, Dwight, of Hayesville; a brother James Ray Hall, of Ravenna, Ohio; a daughter-in-law, Lois Kay Berrong, of Winder, GA.
She worked as a seamstress in her younger working days and liked keeping busy and working with her hands. She made quilts and other crafts. She had a quiet, gentle, sweet spirit and her smile will be missed. A celebration of life service was held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 12 which was held at Hillcrest Assembly of God. Rev. Aline Mosteller and Rev. Randy Segers officiated.Ivie Funeral Home, Hayesville was in charge of all arrangements.
