JOHN W. BAKER, 84, DIES ON WEDNESDAY

John Wesley Baker, 84, proprietor of the Baker carpenter shop here, died Wednesday at his home following a week’s illness. Mrs. Baker died just a week prior, and final services were held Tuesday.

Mr. Baker was born March 8, 1851, at St. Joseph, Mo., and is survived by one daughter, Maude Schade, of Portland. He was a member of the Masonic lodge.Funeral services will be held from the Macy & Son chapel Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock with burial in the Masonic cemetery.
Son of Christopher C. Baker and Nancy T. Sullivan.

Husband of Jennie A. Atlee Baker married Aug 1891.
