Edwin Marjamaa was born in Maynard, Massachusetts to Johan and Maria Emilia (Wörlin) Marjamaa. He had a tree trimming business. When WWII broke out he enlisted in the Army and served in North Africa, Sicily, Italy, and Germany. After the war he married Vera McCassey and they had two children. Edwin worked for Boeing, taught at East Coast Aerotech, and worked for American Airlines. After retirement, he built a house in the US Virgin Islands.
