Ivan William Albaugh, son of William and Lorena Webber Albaugh, was born on a farm two miles south of Eddyville, Iowa, on July 11, 1888, and passed away at his home in Montezuma, Iowa on August 29, 1958, at the age of 70 years, one month, and 18 days.

Mr. Albaugh lived on the farm where he was born until he retired from farming in 1946. In January 9, 1911, he was united in marriage to Ida Moline, and to this union one daughter, Mary, was born.

Upon retiring from the farm they moved to Englewood, Calif. where they resided until 1951. Since then they have lived in their own home in Montezuma, where they have been near-by to enjoy the company of their daughter's family. Mr Albaugh was a member of the Montezuma Methodist Church.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Mrs Loel Ferguson, one grandson, David Ferguson, two granddaughters, Ann and Linda and a host of friends.

Funeral services were held from the Eddyville Methodist church Saturday afternoon, Aug. 30, 1958 with Rev. George S. Snyder, pastor of the Montezuma Methodist officiating and Rev. Robert Martin of local church assisting. Burial was made in Highland cemetery.
