He was working to save money to bring his wife and young daughter to the U.S. from Italy. But he was shot in Schuylkill county and a few days later, died of the wounds to his chest, near his heart. He was murdered by Lewis Pascuto. He died at St Luke's Hospital in Bethlehem, Lehigh County but they have no death records or his disposition. Pascuto plead guilty to second-degree murder and was sentenced to 15 years in Prison.
