A pension was filed by Kitty Frances Short for Henry L. Short, the above civil war vet. I have yet to find his date of death.
Kitty Wells was Catherine Frances Wells, the daughter of John Wesley Wells and Sarah Skinner. John Wesley Wells was the son of Silas Wells and Martha (Oliver) Wells. Kitty married Henry L Short in 1860. Kitty passed away on Sept 25, 1932 and is buried at Maple Hill Cemetery, Tipp City, OH
