Preceded in death by her husband, Earl Bales Sr.; son, Earl Ray Bales, Jr.; parents, Madison R. and Viola Williams McCarter; three sisters.
Surviors include her daughters, Pam Parton and husband, Sam, Carol Martin and husband, Art; brother, Gerald McCarter; sister, Vida Ivey; 4 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
