TIMOTHY ALBRECHT
The funeral service for Timothy Albrecht, 47, Georgia, will be 2:00pm, Saturday, January 10, 2009 at Spitzer-Miller Funeral Home, 1111 S. Main St. Aberdeen, with Pastor Sheila Apland-Ottenbacher officiating. Burial is at Lakeview Cemetery, Columbia. Timothy died Sunday, January 4.
Visitation will be from 1-7pm, Friday at the funeral home.
Timothy Benjamin Albrecht was born February 2, 1961 to Walter and Elsie (Fabert) Albrecht. He grew up on the family farm outside of Columbia, SD with his parents and his older brother, Joe. He was baptized and attended Sunday School at the United Church of Christ in Columbia. Tim attended grade school in Columbia and his Jr. high and high school years in Groton, SD, graduating in 1979. He was a member of the Sand Lake Beavers 4-H Club for many years, showing cattle. After high school, Tim attended North Dakota State School of Science, majoring in Architectural Drafting. He was very talented in his drawings. After college, he moved to Colorado Springs, CO, Cincinnati, OH, and finally settling in Georgia. During his last years in Georgia, Tim became an ordained minister. His letters home were beautifully written and full of scripture and his love for the Lord.
Grateful for having shared his life are his mother, Elsie, Columbia, his brother, Joe (Christi) Albrecht, Columbia, nephews, Brandon and Alex and nieces Myndi and Kelsie.
Tim was preceded in death by his father, Walter, and his grandparents.
