"One motorcyclist has died and another is recovering from critical injuries this morning after their bikes collided with a car that became engulfed in flames on Interstate 595 last night.
Josue Rene Robles Duprey, 25, of Miramar, was killed in the accident when his Yamaha motorcycle struck the back of a sedan as the driver of the car moved to change lanes as they drove eastbound on I-595 near Hiatus Road. Duprey was ejected from the motorcycle.
The sedan, being driven by 22-year-old Erica Borges of Sunrise, veered off the roadway and struck a guardrail, then was hit by another motorcycle. The driver of that motorcycle, Shaun L. Pasley, 22, of Miramar, was ejected up and over the car before it slid to a stop.
The car and motorcycle were engulfed in flames, but the driver of the car had minor injuries. Pasley is recovering at Broward General Medical Center.
The highway's eastbound lanes were closed soon after the crash, which happened at about 8:35 p.m. The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the accident."
