Mrs. Carroll's death was caused by a shock of appolexy, sustained Friday night on Winnipesaukee Street while she was on her way to visit her daughter, Mrs. Dwyer on Elkins Street, to whose home she was taken. Rev. A. J. Timon administered the last rites of the Catholic church, after which she became unconscious, remaining so until she died. The funeral services were held Wednesday morning at 8 o'cloclk from St Paul's church, solemn high mass of requiem being celebrated by Rev. Fr. Timon, assisted by Rev. A. P. Boire. The attendance was large and there were many handsome floral tributes. Burial was at Holy Cross cemetery. The bearers were Fred Merrill, Michael Carroll, Garrett Cushing, John Lynch, John Cushing and Eugene Cunningham. Martin Cunningham was the funeral director."
