Albert Anthony Albarano Sr., 64, of Box 899, RD 4, died early this morning, Jan. 19, 19?>5, at Mercy Regional Health System, following an extended illness.

He was born July 6, 1930, in Cresson, the son of Guy and Mary Grace (Macaroila) Albarano. He married Janet Simmons on Aug. 15,1955, in Winchester, Va.

Mr. Albarano retired as maintenance supervisor from the Bellwood-Antis School District in 1985.

He was an Air Force veteran of the Korean conflict and a member of Cresson American Legion.

Surviving are his wife, two sons: Albert A. Jr. of Harrisburg and Allen, at home; a daughter, Kathie of Altoona; two brothers: Francis A. of Cresson and Raymond A. of Altoona; and four sisters: Palma Dubis in New York, Mary Shandor of Cresson, Virginia Weise of Pittsburgh and Rose Weber of Carrolltown.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at E. Merrill Smith Funeral Home, Juniata.

ALBARANO Services for Albert A. Albarano Sr. of Box 899, RD 4, will be held Saturday at E. MERRILL SMITH FUNERAL HOME INC., JUNIATA. Interment at Allport Cemetery. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

ALBABANO Services for Albert Anthony Albarano Sr. of Box 899, RD 4, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at E. Merrill Smith Funeral Home Inc., JUNIATA, by Monsignor John J. Lafferty. Interment at Allport Cemetery. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at E. Merrill Smith Funeral Home Inc., JUNIATA, where a wake service will be held this evening. Mr. Albara- Correction no was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Juniata.
