Graduated from University of Houston, MBA 1950. World War II veteran; recipient of Bronze Star and Purple Heart. Member of St. Luke's United Methodist Church. Morris was preceded in death by wife of 47 years, Leona (Onie) in October 1986. Survived by son, Morris M. Lemburg, Houston, Texas; daughter Janet Blossman and husband Joe, Houston, Texas; daughter, Kay Emmett and husband Charlie, Midlothian, Texas; Grandchildren: Alan Lemburg, Fayetteville, Arkansas; David Lemburg, San Diego, California.; Jessica and Valerie Emmett, Midlothian, Texas; Joseph Blossman and Susan Garcia, Houston, Texas and extended family "the staff of the Black Eyed Pea Market Grill" on West Gray. Graveside services Sunday, October 8, 2 p.m. Gooch Cemetery, Mason, Texas. A Memorial Service will be held Monday, October 9, 7 p.m. St. Luke's United Methodist Church Chapel, 3471 Westheimer, Houston, Texas. Donations may be made in remembrance to the University of Houston Athletic Department or the charity of your choice.
