Bill was a very intelligent man who could do anything he set his mind to. He was a teacher to many. He enjoyed the outdoors and taught all his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren about fishing, archeology, geology, the history of the area and woodcarving. Many picnics were held out in the sagebrush between anthills and cow pies.
He held many church callings and he loved to teach. Many will remember him as greatest scout leader ever. He loved history and was very involved in doing genealogy.
He wanted to mention the love he had for his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Warren and grandson Stuart.
He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Loa; daughter Billie Jean, daughter Peg (Mike) Snell, daughter Pam (Jim) Currie, daughter Jane (John) Schneider, son Scott (Sharon), son Tom, daughter Sue (Shane) McKinny and daughter Toni (Tom) Bassett.
