Funeral services for Mrs. Leota Belle Achord of Sneed Camp will be held today at 4 p.m. in Minton Memorial Chapel, with Rev. Wayne Burt officiating.
Mrs. Achord, 39, was pronounced dead on arrival at North Plains Hospital Sunday evening. She was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church of Fritch.
Surviving are the husband, John R., and a daughter, Carolyn Sue, of the home; a son, John D. of Denver; her mother, Mrs. Alise Meeks of Vinita, Okla.; three sisters, Mrs. Clinton Allen of Vinita, Mrs. Peggy Neal of California, and Mrs. Dorothy Matthews of Tulsa, Okla.; two brothers, Ordell Meeks of Enid, Okla., and Duane Meeks of Tulsa.
Burial will be in Vinita under the direction of Minton Mortuary.
