Sandra Jean Adams, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, graduated into the Presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Sunday, July 2, 2017, at the age of 75. She was born in Joplin, Missouri, on July 4, 1941.

Sandra pursued many health-centered interests throughout her lifetime. She was a Certified Electrolocist, and practiced Reflexology and Massage Therapy. During the last 30 years, she provided in-home care and relief to numerous families in the Hot Springs area whose loved ones suffered from Alzheimer’s and Dementia. Sandra is fondly remembered for the care and compassion she showed to a community of homeless and displaced individuals across the country.

Her home and heart was always open to help those in need. She would often say, “You can never out-give God.” With no doubts, Sandra would often boast that her proudest accomplishment was raising her daughters, Deana and Tina. She was an exceptional mother, Sunday School teacher, Brownie leader and mentor. Sandra will be greatly missed by her surviving family.

These include her two daughters and sons-in-law, Deana and Charlie Hinson of Roma, Texas, and Tina and Tim Burton of Oologah, Oklahoma; her sister Annette Boles and husband Jerry of Tulsa, Oklahoma;

six grandchildren, Timothy Burton and wife Haley, Talisha Smith and husband Aaron, Jonathan Gatlin, Tyler Burton and wife Brittany, Troy Burton and wife Taylor, and James Gatlin. She also leaves behind four great-granddaughters, Alli, Tori, Piper and Landrie.

A memorial service celebrating the life of Sandra Adams will be held at the Oaklawn Chapel in Hot Springs. Memorials may be donated to Clean Heart Ministries, Inc., including the website “whereeaglesfly.org.”
