Mrs. G. W. Hartman died at her home, 504 West University avenue, Urbana, at 2:55 this morning after an invalidism extending over a number of years. The immediate cause of death was pleuro-pneumonia.
Pearl Lacey was born at Homer on June 12, 1867. She was married to Mr. Hartman on June 17, 1887. To this union three sons and three daughters survive. Five children are dead. The family had been living in Urbana a little more than two years. Mrs. Hartman was a member of the Christian church at Homer.
The funeral services will be held at the house at 1 o'clock Tuesday afternoon, Rev. S. E. Fisher, pastor of University Place church, officiating.
The body will be taken over the interurban to Homer for burial at G. A. R. cemetery.

Mrs. Pearl Hartman, wife of George W. Hartman, died this morning at her home, 504 West University avenue, from Pleuro-pneumonia, her demise following a constitutional decline, dating back for the past ten years.
Pearl Lacey was born at Homer on June 12, 1867, and on June 27,1887, was married in that village to George W. Hartman. The family resided in Homer until two years ago, when they came to Urbana. Besides her husband, Mrs. Hartman leaves three sons and three daughters, all living at home. Five children are dead.
Decedent was a devout member of the Christian church at Homer. The funeral will be held from the home at 1 o'clock Tuesday afternoon, Rev. S. E. Fisher of University Place church of Christ being in charge. The remains will be taken to Homer for interment in G.A.R. cemetery.
