Interment will be in St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery in Breaux Bridge.
Mr. Alexander was a member of the True Friend of LaPointe.
Survivors include his wife, Alice Mary Alexander of Breaux Bridge; his sons, Joseph Alexander and Darrel Alexander, both of Breaux Bridge; his daughters, Caroline Alexander of St. Martinville, Catherine Charles of Breaux Bridge, Mary Stagg of Breaux Bridge, and Anna Ledet of Houston, TX; his sister, Lena Williams of Breaux Bridge; ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Lorena Noel Alexander; three sisters and one brother.
The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 4:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. at Pellerin Funeral Home, 416 Dauterive Street on Sunday and continue at 7:00 a.m. on Monday until time of service.
A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
