Coteau – A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 3:00 PM Monday, May 5, 2014 at Our Lady of Prompt Succor in Coteau for Larry James Alleman, 51, who died Wednesday, April 30, 2014, in New Iberia.

Entombment will follow in the church mausoleum.

Rev. Ed Degeyter will be the Celebrant.

A gathering of family and friends will be Sunday from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 PM Sunday. Visitation will continue Monday from 7:00 AM until 2:00 PM.

Larry was born on July 23, 1962 to Bernard Alleman Sr. and Cevrlia Segura Alleman. He enjoyed landscaping, cutting grass, detailing cars, and riding horses.

He is survived by his mother, Cevrlia Marie Segura Alleman of Bull Island; daughters, Britney Alleman of Loreauville, Nicole Boudreaux and husband Glynn of Youngsville, Brooke Bouy and husband Jason of Baton Rouge; brothers, Bernard Alleman Jr. of Broussard, Tony Alleman and wife Dawn of New Iberia; sisters, Patsy Thibodeaux and husband Kirk of Coteau, Betty Alleman of Coteau, Laura Alleman of Bull Island; grandchildren, Noah Landry, Madison Fremin, Sebastian Fremin, Acesyn Boudreaux; and his companion, Amie Moneaux of Bull Island.

Larry was preceded in death by his father, Bernard Alleman Sr.; grandparents, Andrus and Neola Bourque Alleman, Etienne Segura, Sr. and Julia Touchet Segura; an infant sister; and a brother, Andrus “Nookie” Alleman.

Pallbearers will be Bernard Alleman Jr., Tony Alleman, Kirk Thibodeaux, Hubert Landry Jr., Ross Romero, Jason Bouy, and Scott Derouen.

Honorary pallbearers include Glynn Boudreaux, Brian Borres, and Ryan Guillot.
