Services for Malinda Redford Bales, 56, Frankfort, will be held 12 p.m. Tuesday at Good Shepherd Catholic Church. Rev. Charles Howell will officiate. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Malinda died Friday morning at her home. A native of Frankfort, she was a devoted housewife and loving mother. She was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church and a committee member of the Boy Scouts of America Troop # 281 with Buck Run Baptist Church.

Her parents, Joseph Ovid and Hallie Malinda Perry Redford, as well as her brother, Bruce Redford, preceded her in death. In January, 2012, her husband, Patrick R. Bales, also preceded her.

Survivors include two daughters, Meredith R. Bales (Jason Sutherland), Frankfort and Sydney M. Bales, Lexington; two sons, Logan Patrick Bales (Kara) and Nathan Joseph Bales, Frankfort; and four grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Logan Bales, Nathan Bales, George Fowler, Jason Sutherland, Roderick Cotton, Mark Loy, Phil Yancey and Brian Elmer. Honorary bearer will be Madu.

Visitation will be held Monday, 4:00p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at LeCompte-Johnson-Taylor Funeral Home.
