An excerpt from her husband Martin's 1920 obit reads "He was married to Minerva Phillips, in Illinois, and to this union three children were born, two daughters and one son. The mother and daughters died, at Bartlet [sic, Bartlett], Kas., and the son, John McKoon is the only survivor."
It is said this cemetery contains unmarked graves and graves marked with field stones. This is believed to be the most likely site where Minerva (Phillips) McKoon is buried.
