Margaret Foust Boyd, 88, of Riceville, passed away Monday morning, June 9, 2014, at Life Care Center of Athens.
A native and lifelong resident of McMinn County, she was a daughter of the late Sylas Floyd and Bertha Catherine Hughes Foust, and was also preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
She retired from Vlasic Pickles in Millsboro, Del., and was a member of Riceville First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Henry Boyd of Riceville; one daughter and son-in-law, Judy Quillen and her husband, Kevin, of Murfreesboro; stepson, Greg Boyd and his wife, Joyce, of Milton, Del.; one step-granddaughter, Connie Campitell and her husband, John, of Hedgesville, W.Va.; and four step-great-grandchildren, Christina Campitell, Angela Campitell, Rose Campitell, and Johnny Campitell.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Ziegler Funeral Home with the Rev. Martin Bolin officiating.
Burial will be in Idlewild Cemetery.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from noon to 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
