John and Catherina's headstones are in German and quite beautiful. They are right next to a street and at some point a car came thru the fence and hit them both.
2017 Land records in Pine Grove, Berks Co., Pa, Ray Moyer whose family still lives in the area since the mid 1700's sent me a survey map with not one his family farm but the farms of John Apple and Enoch Weaver which also has St. John's Lutheran Church on it. The Apple farm was #C-15-251 recorded 1/1/1786 but purchased before that. Such a blessing to find people like Ray.
