Joanne was the daughter of Vernon Albert and Francis W.(Stevenson) Smith. She married Clarence Edward Davis on June 30, 1948, in Wichita. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, her sister, Yvonne Clark, and twin daughters. She is survived by her children, Jay Davis, Nancy Davis, and Daryle Davis, her brothers, Steve Smith and Harold Smith, three grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. Services were held at Bethel Presbyterian Church in Wichita.
