MARIAN EVELYN ANDERSON - Funeral services for Marian Evelyn Anderson were held Saturday, March 11, 1989 at Shum-Novinger Funeral Home with Rev. James Hickman officiating. Burial was at Washington Cemetery, Gravity, Iowa.
Marian Evelyn Anderson, daughter of Floyd Eggerth [Eggers] and Bertha Danner was born at Omaha, Neb. May 27, 1929 and departed this life March 8, 1989 at Mercy Hospital, Corning, Iowa at the age of 59 years, nine months, 11 days.
She lived and grew to maturity in Omaha, Neb. where she attended the public school and Nazarene Church.
On June 26, 1949 she was united in marriage to Raymond Anderson at Omaha, Neb. and they lived in Omaha, Neb., Glenwood, Iowa and Bedford, Iowa.
Two sons were adopted to share their love, David and Tim Anderson. Marian spent most of her adult life caring for her children and home.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother.
Left to cherish her memory are Raymond Anderson of the home; sons David Anderson and Tim Anderson; daughter-in-law Regina Anderson; a granddaughter, Athena Anderson; a grandson, Tim Anderson; a sister Helen Buckmaster, Omaha, Neb.; and a brother, Robert Eggers, Calif.
She was a member of the Nazarene Church.
She was a kind and considerate mother and grandmother and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
