She was born on June 9, 1941, in Anchorage, Alaska, to Ingebrigt Severin and Francis Rice (Hunter) Simonson.
Margaret joined the US Navy in '59, completing hospital corps school HM3, and worked as an OB nurse in Quantico, VA, graduating with a Bachelors of Science degree in Nursing from Chemeketa Community College in Salem. She enjoyed travel, painting, playing Bunco, knitting, health & herbal health, playing pool, and dominoes. Margaret is survived by her two sons, John S Anderson and Anthony B Anderson, both of McMinnville, OR. She was preceded in death by her son, David Aaron Anderson; and her husband of 44 years, Robert Berle Anderson.
No services are planned. She will be inturned at Willamette National Cemetery at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of North Salem. Keizer Funeral Chapel is in care of arrangements.
