Roscoe L. "Rick" Anderson, age 81, of Bennett, passed away Wednesday, October 14, 2015, at the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House in Bettendorf.

As per Roscoe's wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral services. Burial will be in the Inland Cemetery, Bennett, Iowa.

Roscoe Lamoyne Anderson was born February 5, 1934, in Tipton, the son of Vance and Gladys (Miller) Anderson. He graduated from Tipton High School in 1951. He married Bonita Mae Borchers on August 21, 1954. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy from 1952 to 1956, during the Korean War. He was employed as a roll shop supervisor with Alcoa in Davenport for 34 years, until he retired in 1995. He enjoyed golfing, fishing and spending time with his family.

Surviving are his wife, Bonita; one daughter, Kris (Terry) Yutesler of Bennett; one son, Michael (Linda) Anderson of Bennett; four grandchildren, Michael (Julie) Yutesler, Jennifer (Shane) Burmeister, Steven (Robin) Anderson and Jena (Karl) Drapeaux); eight great-grandchildren, Justin and Gavin Yutesler, Madison and Mason Burmeister, Kinsley, Sadie and Blakely Anderson and Damien Drapeaux; one sister, Barbara (Bobby) Lenker of Wilton; and two sisters-in-law, Doris Anderson and Betty Anderson, both of Tipton.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Lorraine Lintz and three brothers, Roger, Russell and Sherman Anderson.
