Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m., Monday, February 19, at Hill & Fredericks Chapel in Bettendorf. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery, Davenport, Iowa.
Harry Frederick Blecker was born April 3, 1914, in Rock Island, Illinois, the son of Harry and Fredericka (Harmsen) Blecker. He graduated from Rock Island High School in 1932. He married Helen Louise Hansban on May 25, 1940, in Davenport and were later divorced. He and Helen were remarried on July 26, 1947, in Davenport, and later again divorced. He married Genevieve Arline (Hanson) Vogel in 1961 in Moline. He was employed as a security guard for Eagle Supermarkets, until he retired.
Surviving are his wife, Genevieve; two daughters, Judith (Ronald) Norgard of Davenport and Susan (Stanley) Lazenby of Kansas City, KS; two grandchildren; his mother, Fredericka Blecker of Rock Island, IL; two sisters, Dorothy (Francis) Moody of Moline, IL, and Carolyn (Arnold) Mueck of Rock Island, IL; and two brothers, Carl (Irma) Blecker of Citrus Heights, CA, and George Blecker of San Diego, CA.
He was preceded in death by his father and one nephew, Thomas Moody.
