Pearl Griesinger Dies

Pearl J. Griesinger, 85, a resident of the Big Sandy community for 56 years passed away at her home in Big Sandy, Saturday, Nov 20, 1976. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 23, at the United Methodist Church in Big Sandy, with burial in the cemetery there.

Mrs. Griesinger was born June 12, 1891, at Raymore, Mo. She married Fred Griesinger on Nov. 15, 1911, and the couple came to the Big Sandy area where they farmed for many years. Her husband preceded her in death on Feb. 29, 1968. The couple had no children.

Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Alice Quinn of Big Sandy; two nephews, Mack Quinn of Big Sandy, and Joe Quinn of Spokane.

Mrs. Griesinger was a member of the Big Sandy United Methodist Church and very active in the ladies organizations of the church. She was a charter member of Bear Paw Chapter 100, Order of Eastern Star.
