"The Canaseraga Times of Friday said:
Mrs. Fred Dolloph gave a birthday dinner in honor of G.R. Dolloph's birthday Monday night which was a most enjoyable affair. Covers were laid for eight. All were enthusiastic over Mrs. Dolloph as a hostess. The guests were all soldier friends of Mr. Dolloph and were Byron Bennett, S.D. Beecher, W.H. Harris, N.S. Fay, A.H. Boylan and W.D. Harrington. The combined age of the guests was 825 years. Mr. Dolloph and Mr. Harrington served in the 136th N.Y. Vol. and possibly some of the others did, and they knew how to enjoy the affair.
