He was preceded in death by his wife, Ora Lee "Tucky" Abbie; sister, Flora; and three brothers, Ferris, Will and Ted.
He is survived by his daughter, Arlene Neal of Plano; and two grandsons, Brad Neal and Paul Neal.
Jack was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Navy serving in the Pacific Theater. He loved and honored family above all else. He was an avid hunter, accomplished fisherman and a master welder. His kindness and generosity of spirit will be deeply missed, not only by his family, but his many friends as well.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Thursday, Feb. 11, at Corley Funeral Home. Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 11, at Oakwood Cemetery with Robert Matthews officiating.
