Aldridge, Harriett Eugena Of Jackson, MI passed away peacefully on February 16, 2017 at the age of 98 under the loving care of her family. Harriett was the daughter of Walter and Laura (Easley) McLain, born March 21, 1918 in Elk Rapids, MI. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Oliver, her parents, many brothers and sisters, and son in-laws Richard Cox and Richard Ward. Harriett is survived by four children, John (Mary) Aldridge, Jacqueline (Ted) Buckland, Sandra Cox, and Grace Ward; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Alice Clark. Harriett was a graduate of Elk Rapids High School. After high school, she worked on bomber planes for many years during WWII as a Rosie The Riveter. Harriett enjoyed playing bingo, euchre, and spending time with her family. According to her wishes cremation will take place. Inurnment at Hillcrest Cemetery on a later date.
