From the Journal of Mary Duran, page 35:
"In Memoriam"
"In loving remembrance of my darling
father and mother, who departed in
Guadalupe Alvarado, father October 21, 1906
Angelita Alvarado, mother February 11, 1926
No one knows how much I miss you;
I have suffered since I lost you;
Life has never been the same
In my heart your memory lingers,
Sweet, tender, fond and true;
There is not a day dear parents
That I do not think of you.
your daughter Mary "
