ORAN -- Velda G. Anderson, 82, died Jan. 29, 2013, at the Clearview Nursing Center in Sikeston.

Born Dec. 3, 1930, in Bell City, to the late Leonard and Lynn Workman Deimund, she was a member of the Morley Baptist Church.

On Dec. 24, 1954, she married Bill C. Anderson, and he survives of the home.

Other survivors include three daughters, Rita Jo Halford of Dexter, Cindy Champion of Waterloo, Ill., and Charlotte Harris of Sulphur, La.; one brother, Eddie Workman of Scott City; one sister, June Delay of Sikeston; and six grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Dorothy Jungers and Gail Pickett; and one brother, Charles "Sonny"Workman.

No public services are scheduled.
