OBITUARY OF JAMES A. BAUCUM

James A. Baucum, of Vero Beach, and former resident of Alachua died Tuesday at his home following a heart attack. He was 68.

He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Clark S. Baucum of Alachua and was a retired business man.

He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Paula Baucum, Vero Beach, three sisters, Mrs. Barbara B. Lustig and Mrs. Estelle B. Beckham both of Gainesville, Mrs. Sudie B. Padgett, Jacksonville; and a brother, George D. Baucum, Augusta, Ga.

James Alvin Baucum, 65 of 534 Conn Way, died Tuesday afternoon. He had been a resident of Vero Beach for the past seven years, coming here from Corning, California, and was a member of the First Church of Christ Scientist.

Mr. Baucum is survived by his wife, Mrs. Paula Z. Baucum, Vero Beach; one brother and three sisters. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday from the Floyd Funeral Home Chapel.
