Louis A. Kissling was born in Franklin County, MO, November 20, 1889. He departed this life Tuesday night, July 9, 1957, in Oklahoma City, OK. Mr. Kissling reached the age of 67 years. He was employed at the Tinker Airbase in Oklahoma City.
Surviving include his wife, Cora E. of the home; a daughter, Mrs. Earl DeVilbiss; four sisters, Mr. S. F. McKinney and Mrs. William Burmeister, both of St. Louis; Mrs. Emma Lerbs, Jefferson City; and Mrs. Dan Haid, Berger, MO; and two brothers Charles and Ray Kissling both of St. Louis.
Funeral services for Mr. Kissling were held on Friday, July 12 at Smith and Kernke Funeral Chapel, with interment at Rose Hill Burial Park, Oklahoma City.
Mr. Kissling was a former new Haven, MO rural mail carrier, serving at the local postoffice for a number of years.
