MECOSTA - Christine Adams, 87, of Mecosta, passed away on Nov. 26, 2013, at Spectrum Butterworth Hospital surrounded by family. Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 2, 2013, at Hansen-Janowicz Funeral Home in Remus.
A luncheon will immediately follow at the Mecosta VFW hall.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 1, 2013, and from noon until the time of service on Monday at the funeral home.
Christine was born on Sept. 19, 1926, the daughter of John and Barbara (Frisch) Echter.
Generous, determined, and loving were all words used to describe Christine.
She was a Girl Scout Leader for 20 years, loved to do crafts, and was a life long member of the Mecosta Auxiliary Post 2335.
Left to cherish her memory are daughters Renee (L.A.) Gould, Terrie (Rick) Caswell; sister, Elizabeth Krzywda; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Christine was preceded in death by her husband, Perry; her parents, and 11 siblings.
