Father Simon Stumbaugh. Enlisted PA. Army National Guard May, 2, 1913.Mexican Border Campaign Jun, 8, 1916.Killed in Action, Aug 27 1918, at the Battle of the Marne, Fismette, France. Company G and H 112th infantry 28th Division lost a combined total of 200 men out of 230 when cut off at Fismette and fended off a frontal attack by a thousand German soldiers. Fought with honor in the face of the enemy with his comrades in arms. Far from Home But Not Forgotten, Rest In Peace
