Denver Gregory Aldridge, 60, son of Gregory Aldridge and Lillie Mae Collins Aldridge, was born Jan. 10, 1929, at Tyrone. He died June 17,1989, at his home near Elk Creek. He was an electrician. Surviving are his wife, Venita; three sons, J.D. of Mountain Grove, Raymond of Marshfield and Greg of Springfield; six daughters, Donna Dodd of Cabool, Elaine Glenn of Elk Creek, Patty Sprague and Jackie Sprague of Bucyrus, Kan., Kellie Schull and Danette Aldridge of Marshfield; a stepson, David Meade of Brandenburg, Ky.; two stepdaughters, Betty Manning and Janet Davis of Brandenburg, Ky; one brother, Delbert Aldridge of Imperial; four sisters, Delia Dunigan of Hollister, Dessie Dunigan of San Bernadino, Calif., Lil Berry of Eureka and Lorene Earp of Success; two stepbrothers, Don Harrison of Elk Creek and Edward Lee McBride of Kansas City; one stepsister, Ada Scheets of Cabool; 24 grandchildren and four great-grandchildaren. Services were Wednesday at the Evans Funeral Home Chapel with Eugene Earp officiating. Burial was in the Tyrone Cemetery.
