Mrs. William Ryan received word today of the death of Bernard Cunningham, who passed away Sunday at his home in Bowman County, North Dakota. Mr. Cunningham went to his claim some time ago. He was not in good health for several weeks. He is brother of William and Peter Cunningham, who are residents of Rochester, The remains will be brought to this city for interment, they being expected to arrive on Thursday. Mr. Cunningham held membership in the A. O, U. W. lodge here.

The funeral of Bernard Cunningham was held Friday morning at ten o'clock from the Catholic Church. The A. O. U. W. lodge, of which the deceased was a member, marched to the house and accompanied the body to the church, where high mass was said by the Rev. Father Riordan. Mr. Cunningham leaves a mother, Mrs. Sarah Cunningham, three brothers and two sisters. Their names are Thomas, Peter, William, and Mary Cunningham, and Mrs. William (Elizabeth) Ryan.
