Harold F. Ball Jr. Battle Creek Harold F. Ball Jr., 73, passed away Saturday, October 24, 2009 at Borgess Medical Center. He was born August 26, 1936, in Mulliken, the son of Harold F. and Doris (Wise) Ball. Harold was employed by Springfield Foundry for many years and retired due to disability. Harold was previously married to the former Deanna Davis. He later married the former Tonya Welker. She preceded him in death on November 23, 2007. Harold enjoyed fishing, camping, working on cars, drives in the country and country music. He particularly enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Harold is survived by his children Danny (Wanda) Ball of Sherwood, Cheryl Blair of Battle Creek, Patricia (Richard) Elkins of Ceresco, Thomas (Jeana) Ball of Madison, WI, Doug Plaunt of Kansas City, KS, Timothy Plaunt of Battle Creek and Leona Gillison of Battle Creek. He also leaves 31 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and his brother Don Ball of Burlington. He was preceded by his bother Lawrence Ball and sister Dorothy Andrews. Visitation will be from 6:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. Tuesday and 2:00p.m. to 4:00p.m. and 6:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. Wednesday at Royal funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00a.m., Thursday, October 29, 2009 at Royal Funeral Home.
