Mrs. Haskell Baggett died at 12:25 pm Soaturday, Jan. 19, in Methodist Hospital, Lubbock, after a short illness. She was 79 years of age and had lived in Collingsworth County almost all of her life. Mrs. Baggett was the former Mary Annie Winkler, the daughter of Henry and Susie Hairston Wrinkler, and was born in Hall County, Sept. 11, 1904. She came with her parents to the Quail area when she was 10 months old, living in the area the remander of her life. She was married to Haskell Baggett Sept., 17, 1942 at Quail. He died October 23, 1980. Mrs. Baggett was a member of First United Methodist Church and Busy Bee Quilting Club.
Survivors are three daughters, Joyce Martin of Lubbock, Katherine Tidrow and Ann Nation both of Idaou. there are 8 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, R.C. Baggett on Aug. 10, 1940.
