NAPOLEON -- Cheryl Denise Brown, 47, Napoleon, died Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2008, in her home.

She was born Nov. 25, 1960, in Grundy, Va., the daughter of Clifford Bevins and Shelby Jean (Thornsbury) Scott. In 2000, she married Chester Brown, who survives. She worked at Dollar General, Napoleon.

Also surviving are her mother, Napoleon; a son, Reaford Syck; a stepson, Robert Brown; a stepdaughter, Ashley Brown; a brother, Mason Scott; two sisters, Rhonda Mullins and Kim Edwards; and two grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her father; a stepfather, Mason Scott; a son, Waylon Bevins; and a sister, Pam Belcher.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Snyder-Wesche Funeral Home, Napoleon, with Rev. Wendell Blackburn officiating. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Napoleon. Visitation is from 4-8 p.m. Friday.

Preferred memorials are to a charity of the donor's choice.
