Ila Crawford, age 77, long time Oklahoma City resident, died in a local hospital, Wednesday after an extended illness. She was a member of the National Iris Society and very active in other garden clubs in the OKC area. She is survived by 5 brothers, Turner Simpson, of Cisco, TX, Burley Simpson, of Las Vegas, NV, J. Melvin Simpson, of Ft. Worth, TX, M. J. Simpson, of Anson, TX, Glenn D. Simpson, of Houston, TX; one sister, Rena Hester, of Brownfield, TX. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe P. Crawford in 1974. Friends may call at the Guardian Midtown Funeral Home until 4 pm Thursday. Services will be in the Littles Conner Sparlin Funeral Home, in Purcell, OK, Friday 2 pm.
