Mar 2002 - Obit: Margaret M Flemming of Silverwood d. 16 Mar 2002 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Born at Upper Queensbury on 29 Dec 1917, she was a daughter of the late Ernest and Clara (Stairs) Moffatt. Margaret was a housewife and was also employed for several years as a waitress at the Silverwood Motel Restaurant. She was a member of Grace Memorial United Baptist Church and Grace Matheson Missionary Circle. She is survived by 5 daughters, a son, a daughter-in-law, 28 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, six sisters-in-law, three brothers-in-law, several nieces and nephews. Margaret was predeceased by her husband, Murray A Flemming in 1993, a son Herman Flemming, an infant daughter Elizabeth Ann, a sister Mabel Davis and five brothers, Truman, Charles, Jason, Melbourne and Earle Moffatt. Funeral service will be held at Grace Memorial United Baptist Church, Fredericton on Tue, 19 Mar 2002 at 2 pm. Rev. Doug Hapernan officiating, assisted by Rev. Marilyn Rose. Interment will be later in Nackawic Cemetery. For those who wish to make a donation in memory of Margaret, the family has suggested Grace Memorial United Baptist Church, the Nackawic Cemetery or a charity of the donor's choice.
