Funeral services for Clarion Ralph Almon of 1237 Dudley Lane in Bossier City will be at 2 p.m. today at the Boone Funeral Home Chapel in Bossier City.
Officiating at the services will be the Rev. M. L. Faler, pastor of the Waller Baptist Church. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery with military honors.
Mr. Almon, who was retired from the Air Force, died at 9:30 p.m. Wednesday in Veterans’ Administration Hospital after a short illness. He was 60.
A resident of Bossier City for the past 15 years, Mr. Almon was a native of Norphlet, Ark. He was a member of Waller Baptist Church.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Jessie Mae Almon of Bossier City; two daughters, Mrs. Richard Childs of Dallas, Tex., and Mrs. Ronnie Bell of Nashville, Ark.; two brothers, Johnny Almon of Portland, Ore., and Eugene Almon of Bartlesville, Okla.; four sisters, Mrs. E. E. Hall of El Dorado, Ark., Mrs. Catherine Robbins of Dallas, Tex., Mrs. Lucille Rybolt of Kokomo, Ind., and Mrs. Gladys Shirley of Austin, Tex.; and four grandchildren.
