..Fern Davolt, 46, formerly of Centerville, died Thursday, December 10 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Davenport.
..She was born in Appanoose County on August 9, 1941 to Carl and Nora Fenton. She was married Jan. 11, 1965 in Rock Island, Ill., to Wallace J. Davolt.
..She was preceded in death by her parents and one step-child.
..Survivors are her husband; one son by previous marriage, Robert J. Lake of Moline, Ill.; two step-sons, Warren and Dean Davolt of Unionville, Mo.; one brother, Carl Robert Fenton of Bettendorf; one sister, Leona Goffe of Eldridge, Iowa; one granddaughter; and three step-granddaughters. She is also survived by aunts, uncles and several nephews and nieces.
..Funeral services were Saturday at Johnson-Lange Funeral Home in Centerville with Pastor Donnel Logsdon officiating. Burial was in the Jerome Cemetery.

Fern's second husband, Wallace "Junior" Davolt, was buried in the Mount Ararat Cemetery in Moulton with his second wife, Margaret Louise Henderson Houser.
